Unfortunately, records fail on this occasion!!   We were playing in Red and White Stripes (Wow!!) given to us by Jack Errington, Secretary of the Colliery Welfare, as they had obtained a new set.

The nine players on this occasion (perhaps we were awaiting the arrival of the other two from the Pigeon Club!!) were: Back Row: Matty Summerside, Harry Beaney (Trainer), Joe Hibbert, a young supporter, Kenny Nelson;

Front Row: John Stoker, John Burgess, Eddie Oliver, Willie Wright, Alan Ridley,   (? ? Derek Lowden/M. Maddison??).
