We had a tour of the Rhine Valley, travelling by Coach on one side and returning by boat, visiting such places as Duisberg, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Koblenz and Kogniswinter.
There was also a visit to an Athletics Meeting and to a Steel Works in Essen. All in all it was a very good holiday with friends who had visited us and toured the North East of England some three weeks previously.
